Judo Arena in the Akademichesky district will seat 1,669 spectators. As planned, the building will be divided into competitions, administration, training and general-purpose sections. There will also be a parking area with spaces for 316 cars and 20 buses. The new complex will be equipped to host international events.

In recognition of judo original homeland, the building exterior design is inspired by a traditional Japanese Torii gate.
